Dreams

Every each of us have our own dreams. No matter how much you have, you'll secretly want something that you can't have. Me included. Lots of what if and not on my mind. Discussing about dreams and everything according to our desire would be endless. I am talking about dreams here, something i wish for if i ever have the luxury to realize it. Not that i am not grateful for what i have now, believe me i am always forever grateful with everything that going on in my life. Back to the topic, i want to share some of my dreams, that i think would forever be a dream unless i change 360 degrees of my life, which is unlikely!

I hate my job. As you been told before, my work involves stock market and everything financial minus the accounting. I hate finance and everything that associate with it. In this industry i can't be creative, everything is figures, graph, facts & numbers. I only got myself to blame since i study accounts & finance due to lack of guidance what to study and follow the flows, ignorance of what my future & career will be like with a degree in Business Finance. My truly dream jobs is to be involved in anything that matters. I like to be "the behind the scene elves".  Someone who works the magic but not really aim to be famous or recognition from public. Doesn't mind for what cause or event. Maybe i should be in creative industry. Maybe i can be an event organizer or a wedding/party planner. But...my not so secret dream job is to be a person who do voice over for cartoons. Alaa...macam alih suara or dub suara untuk watak katun. I am expert in making weird voices y'know! LOL! I don't like desk job and have normal job like most people. I want to be busy with my thing that the end result i can see and makes me proud. I am in my 30's now, i guess it is too late to pursue my dreams. I only have one dream job left that seems possible. Start my own business. To be financially independent and quit 9-5 jobs. Working on it now. Dare i leave my comfort zone and face the cruel business word? Allahualam!

To live in my dream home. Not necessary big. I don't dream of big bungalow house with 10 bedrooms. Apartment with ample space for activities is sufficient enough. What's important is the interior is according to my taste and also clean & neat! I want a cute & comfy house to come home to. All my stuff will be organized. My kids can have their own playroom and enough space to store their massive toys neatly. My husband can have his own room to do what he always do on the computer. My kitchen would be cute & neat with the convenience & practicality to cook or do whatever people do in the kitchen. Senang cite, i would like an interior that comes straight from IKEA catalog! Ain't that lovely? Unless i found a tree that can grows money, this is only remain as dreams. Now i just have to settle with my cute enough apartment and count the blessings that i still have a roof to shelter my family.

Travels. This associated to money as well. Also time & the freedom to do so. I always envy those people that been sponsored to travel. Or their job involves traveling. Travel for free is such a bliss! Okla nevermind the travel for free thing. Now with all the cheap flights, i actually can afford to travel IF i travel alone, left my kids. Well, i won't have the heart to do so. Actually i got a trip to Bandung in May with my colleagues & mak, without my kids & husband. First time to left them, not sure what i would feel later. This won't be a frequent things, only 1 or 2 trips tinggal them ok la. But to pursue my travelling dreams alone and left my love ones, i tak sanggup. That is why this remains as dream till i got lots of money or my husband is, to bring the whole family travels around the world without worries.

Enoughla kan. Share 3 of my major dreams is sufficient. Other dreams are utterly rubbish that involves my limitless imaginary. Hahahaha..! Like i mentioned before, i am happy with my current life. I have a simple life and every now and then still can realize my mini dreams such as makan sedap..hahahaha. What are your dreams? Mind to share? :)

Katun Pelik

Remember i once told you my son suka tengok katun pelik (refer post here). Last time it is Flapjack. Now Flapjack not showing at Cartoon Network anymore. But 3 other pelik cartoon pulak yang dia layan. Why pelik? The characters are gila-gila dan lukisan dia pun pelik. Cerita dia pun macam entah papa, kejap jadi kucing kejap jadi anjing, merepek tak sudah. Pastu lawak die macam tak sesuai untuk budak, lots of sarcasm. But my son boleh gelak, entah dia faham ke tidak pun taktau. Mana la pegi zaman dulu tengok katun simple. Katun macam mickey mouse with simple story line without dialog. Or katun like tom & jerry yang tak sudah-sudah kejar mengejar. Dulu kalau nak tengok katun clever sket with a bit of sarcasm are some of those Loony Toons one. Entah la, apa punya taste budak zaman sekarang. Maybe because kids are cleverer nowadays, will not accept simple cartoon?

Here are 3 cartoons pelik yang my son suka layan sekarang. I tak layan sangat katun ni so i dont know what are they really about:

The Amazing World of Gumball.
Yang i tau die cite pasal 2 adik beradik ni punya hidup dengan skolah, kawan (yg super pelik) dan konflik dengan parents (esp bapak) yang juga pelik. Nampak je katun tu comel, tapi watak dia gangster sket.

Adventure Time
Katun ni i pening kepala kalau layan. Cerita pasal adventure budak pakai topi putih tu dengan anjing dia. All sort of weird and ghastly adventure. Dahla katun dia hodoh. Tapi kelakar la jokes dia. But very-very weird! Even the creator also said he did not want to create normal cartoon with moral lesson. He wanted to write stupid stuff -__-"

Regular Show
Look at the cartoon..the character..apa punya watak ni? Scary je! But my son loves them! The cartoon is funny, i pun macam suka. But kids faham ke? Dahla entah pape jalan cerita dia. The blue bird & raccoon are best friend. Cerita pasal konflik diorang dengan orang sekeliling la. I think this cartoon are more suitable to teenagers due to the storyline. But i taktau macam mana Adam boleh berkenan, even though i rasa dia tak faham sangat. Maybe because he naturally attracted to weird cartoons?

You must wondering why i did not stop my son from watching these cartoon kan? Hmm..taktaula. I am more of a parent that let my kids build their own character. Rather than me telling them what they have to be like. My parents memang macam tu dengan i dulu. He let me build my own character & personality but somehow i always know the limit because he will always monitor me and tell me when & why i should not do those things. He let me think. And by thinking i understand more why i should or should not do. I nak tengok katun or movie apa pun dia tak halang. And ofcourse la i pun takde la abuse his trust gi tengok porn stuff ke apa ke. Memang tak minat pun, because i am woman, kalau anak laki lain la kan??hehehe..

I don't know whether it'll work for my kids. We'll see. Whatever that clearly salah memangla i betulkan. Especially on his manners and also religion. Yang dua tu memang intolerable!  For now i don't see any harm for him to layan those cartoon, just hairan je apa yang dia suka sangat. But if the cartoon do give him any negative impact, i will totally stop it.

Okla itu sahaja sesi sharing hari ini. Take care! End---

Everybody's Fine

Are you all fine? I hope you do :) With the wet weather, i hope you all take better care of your health. Alhamdulillah so far me and the kids are doing good, no fever or flu. Tapi sejuknya especially malam.

On this post i wanna share with you a movie i just watched last weekend. Everybody's Fine. Such a heart warming and sad movie, it made me cried. I am glad that i accidentally switch to Sundance Channel. (coz i hardly watch that channel). Bila terbukak channel tu i checked the storyline and casts. They got Robert De Niro (great actor), Kate Beckinsale and Drew Barrymore (my favourite actress coz she is adorable). So oklah, thought i layan the story because nothing else interesting to watch on other channels. Memang best sungguh movie ni. A simple story about a father's love but so sad lah. What makes it so sad it because the father's character is familiar to me.

The movie has simple story line but touches us at the right place. Suka sangat movie macam ni, yang tak trying hard to proves a point with great cgi or action and still can tell a beautiful story. Okla i cerita sikit what this movie is about. It is about a father's love to his children and trying to get close to them. His wife had just passed away and suddenly all his children are distant from him. Because all these while his wife is the one yang communicate with their children. So the father decided to start a journey to visit all his 4 children which live at 4 different states. Each children he visited, revealed a hint of secret that they been hiding from him. Due to the secret, his children macam tak layan sangat bapak diorang. That time i was so sad and fikir jahatnya anak dia. And each of his children has their own problem as well. A problem that their late mother knows. One of the conversation in this movie, his daughter told him that they are more open to talk to their mother because she was calmer and supportive compare to him (her father) which worries to much and expect the best from them. In the movie, it shows that all his children love & care for their father. And despite the cold treatment by his children, the father still calm & understanding. No drama what so ever. Until towards the end of the movie, the secret revealed, at the hospital bed where their father admitted due some complication with his health (u got to watch to know what). Ha, part ni memang sedih sangat. To cut story short, in the end they are back together as a happy family and their father has accepts the fact that his children are all grown up with their own life and problems. Takde macam drama melayu yang in the end lawat kubur dan ada hadis or ayat al-quran di akhir cerita. Very simple and heart warming story and funny as well. Robert De Niro is superb, love him! I want to watch it again!

The reason why i love this movie so much is that, my parents are like that as well. My mother is the one we go to if we have any story, may it be good or bad. And she is always understanding, not judgmental and calm. Unlike our father which will be worried too much. As a children we always try to impress especially our father because he always very expressive of what he expect from us. So to tell him bad news or problem is a bit harder. Hence, the distant from his children. The recent tragedy of my brother's condition proves the point. My father was the one worries too much to the point macam a bit mental dah. Sampaikan any bad news on my brother's condition kitorang memang tak cerita terus terang kat dia. He would broke down and cry like a child. My mother was calmer and easier to handle. So this is why i am so sad when i watch this movie, because it is familiar.

Those yang tak tengok lagi but love this kind of movie please do search for it. Everybody's Fine. I include here the movie's trailer. Oh, and here are more details of the story if you are keen (from wikipedia).

Fantasy Baju Raya

I can't afford all these baju raya. But i still can admire them right? Lots of raya collection has been launched by Malaysian designer. Here are some of my favourites.

In love with all these lovely designs from Nurita Harith. Soft & flowy, peplum designs (d'you know peplum style is so in right now?), drapes & pleats and the most wonderful thing is the pastel color scheme. Ahh..everything i wish my baju raya will be (having a great model-like body would be perfect!)

Adore the right side heavy printed jubah! From cosry purple label.

Color block style in mint with side slit. So demure & elegant, i like! This is from Alia Bastamam.

Summer Raya collection by Rico Rinaldi. Suka semuanya. Very unique design. Combination of prints, lace and exquisite beading! Ethnic style baju raya design, for sure you are the only one wear this one of a kind design! My favourite is the colorful print long dress with white lapel. Anyway, most of them are sold out already!

Ok dahla tu berangan. I don't have budget of RM500 to RM2000 to buy those beautiful collections. But i heard Rizalman has designed a cheaper collection for Tesco as well as Jovian Mandagie, he did a collaboration with First Lady. Seen the Tesco's, cantik jugak tapi malas nak beli pasal takut nanti ramai plak pakai baju yang sama eventhough it is a limited but still! I haven't bought my baju raya yet. This year theme is purple. Tengok la nanti mana design yang berkenan di hati. Hopefully can find an awesome one!

Cha or Cool?

PEARL MILKTEA
Just to let you know, i am madly into pearl milktea right now. Really addicted. Everyday thinking to drink one but have to constraint myself for only 2 to 3 cups per week. I know it been famous for so long but i only joined the wagon sometime last month. It all started when Cool Blog opens nearby my office. Everytime i pass them, sure got people que up to buy them, mostly teenagers & school kids. Hairan jugak, sedap ke? So finally i tried to buy one, on recommendations i bought chocolate flavoured. Tak sedap pun. Second time tried strawberry, better but still not that sedap. So i gave up..taknak beli dah.

But then......i was intrigued to try the famous Chatime. First time bought was during Ramadhan. Straight away i am addicted! The tea fragrant is so nice and not that sweet. The pearls (i love to add pearls) are big, chewy & yummy. No wonder the ques are long everytime everywhere. Must take numbers like banks ok! I always ordered their Hazelnut Chocolate Milktea. Am not adventurous enough to try other flavours eventhough by the name seems very tempting. My regular milktea cost me RM5.90 (R) or TM6.90 (L) a cup. Quite expensive for a tea but wayyy much cheaper than Java Chip Frappucino from Starbucks (also my fav)!

Well, since there is no Chatime nearby my office, i have to opt for Cool Blog. Now i already found the right taste that can cure my milktea addict. My choice would be either Yam Milktea or Honeydew Milktea. Those flavours not only taste good but smell nice as well. And it is much cheaper, RM2.40 a cup. Minus points are they don't have nice tea fragrance and the pearls are not that yummy & chewy compared to Chatime's. I also did tried some not-so famous milktea that those aunty-type are selling. Well, i realized they use powder for the flavour, not real tea or real syrup, so it is quite tasteless and not as good as Cool Blog. So Cool Blog, you are my choice as long as no Chatime opens  here. If i have the money, i will open one! Cewaahhh!

CHA?

OR

COOL?

Haisy....now i really want my Chatime..so who can buy for me?

p/s: CNN just released top 50 world's favourite drinks and Bubble Tea or milk tea is no.25! Check here. Told ya it is yummy!

Cute Lunch

My dear husband was at home taking care of the kids while me at work. Couldn't get an off day due to some work commitments. I can count on him taking care of those cute rascals. The only thing i worried is, apa la bapak diorang bagi anak aku makan kat rumah tu. He is not that good in cooking apart from instant maggi and flipping burger, he is hopeless. Sometime i would cook something beforehand or i will send food during lunch time (my house is only 10mins drive from office). But today i just left it to my husband to feed them with any food he can come out with. So.....during lunch time just now i got this mms from him:

Alaaa...so cute la telur tu! He cooked breakfast food for lunch. Tak kisah la, asalkan anak aku makan. He even prepared some toast & cheesy baked beans. The star shaped egg was moulded by a star shaped acuan i bought from Daiso. My son love his food even more if i shape his bread into a star. Good to motivate him to finish his food. Next time gonna buy other shapes available (heart, bunny, bear).

P/S: Notice the red polka dots table cover? Bought that from Daiso as well, only RM5..good buy! :)

Sesame Street

Remember Sesame Street? Last time (when i was a kid) it was so famous, everyday pun boleh tengok kat TV. Love to watch it, and try to learn all the stuff they teach. It was where i first knew that in America, they pronounce Z as 'Zi'. Now no more Sesame Street show on TV (atleast on Malaysian TV). What left is only The Elmo Show, which is fun as well. Was Adam's favourite, one day layan sampai 10x pun takpe.

Now..recently..my girl Dania love to layan all Sesame Street's songs. It started when i want to entertain her using my Ipad by loading youtube videos. Since then, everyday mesti wajib bagi tengok Sesame Street's song. Counting 1,2,3..singing A,B,C..duck song..disco song. Elmo this Elmo that. My husband has uploaded some of the songs from youtube and plug in the file onto our TV. Pantang pegang remote je mesti Dania's face will lighten up and humming sambil goyang badan (signaling that she wants to watch her Sesame Street song). Nasib tak pandai nak nyanyi lagi, if not mesti asyik melalak je menyanyi dalam rumah tu.

Here is one of her favourite song, 'What I Am' by Will.i.a.m. Nice song though, you pun mesti enjoy!

Before i end this post, wanna share you one funny conversation i had with my boy Adam that related to Elmo.

Me:  Nanti Adam kena pegi sekolah dah tau, dah besar.
Adam: Taknak..
Me: Kena pegi, kat sekolah nanti boleh blajar 1,2,3, blajar A,B,C
Adam: Mak ingat Adam ni Elmo ke!
Me: Errkkk....(sambil tahan gelak)

*Whoever yang blur, Elmo always sing numbers & alphabets so my 'clever' Adam thought only Elmo does that! *

Heartthrob

I might be too old talking about heartthrob. Well, every woman at point of her life do or did have their own heartthrob right? I am talking about celebrity heartthrob not the kind that you spot cute guy in school or mall, you go crazy stalk him and went ga-ga whenever you stumbles upon him.

Mesti semua pun ada your choice of celebrity heartthrob masa muda-mudi dulu kan..kan...eleeehhh, jangan tipu! Tersenyum tersengih sorang-sorang depan TV as if kalau boleh nak terjun masuk kat dalam TV tu peluk your heartthrob. May it be an actor or singer or even TV presenter/ VJ..we had our own silly moments whenever they appear on TV. Malam-malam sebelum tido belek gambar or tenung poster kat dinding lama-lama sambil fikiran terawang-awang beimaginasi berlari berpegang tangan persis adengan romantik drama Korea. Aik...wait, maybe i am the only one doing that, am i??? Well what ever la..i am guilty of that and i am not ashamed to admit it because it was fun and what made me happy then. I did not end up as a psychopath stalker but actually turn out to be a decent & normal woman, happily married with kids!

Ok enough merepek. Here are some of heartthrobs that made me crazy in love and rock my life!

Ala-ala-laaa....cute nya!
Yess baby, i had this poster on my wall. Imagine my family & friends 'ewww' face whenever they entered my room!

Take That!!! A boyband from UK. I am fanatic about them. Most of my teenage life evolved around them. Posters all over the room, airing their song continuously every single moments, not one single day i did not mention Take That in my conversation (sampai my siblings buat betting cabar i berpuasa dari cakap anything related to Take That for one day), owned every magazine, books, video, cassettes etc that related to Take That, forced my family & friends to support me by contributing any Take That stuff or even articles to me and some other crazy stuff that a fanatics would have done at that time accept for stalking them since they are sooo far away. That time i corresponded with several Take That fans in Europe and Australia (having oversea pen pal was norm at that time) so that we can share stories and exchange posters. I even had the same haircut as them (Robbie or Mark). Memang gila ahhhhhhh!

Ok enough of boyband. Now come the real heartthrob. Guys that keep me drooling and the hero of my nasty imagination. Takeshi Keneishiro and Takuya Kimura. Both are asian and Japanese (takeshi is half japanese). I prefer asian than those hollywood star. If i would have to choose hollywood star, it would be Keanu Reeves, Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp (note: those 3 guys are really hot when i was young). But Takuya and Takeshi still top of my list. I watch almost every movie or drama featuring them. And after that i will imagine i was the heroine. Hahahaha....  I enjoy Takuya style of acting espcially, so cool! Do you know after all these years and Takuya is already in his 40's now, he still got the most endorsement in Japan? Not sure about Takeshi but i think he was in lots of international ad as well and recently been paid high sums to be the face or Armani. Well, but too bad both of them are taken and not available now. Takuya already married with children while Takeshi just announced he has a Japanese girlfriend. Nevermind, they still remain my heartthrob because they are actually still HOT !

Cute & sexy
Oh Takuya! Believe or not i even ask my boyfriend (now husband) to do the same hairstyle as Takuya.  Dengan harapan akan magically transform to be as good looking as Takuya?? NOT!

Takeshi Kenneishiro. Sexayyy!!!
His eyes..his hair..his facial structure...perfect!
Love his smile! Apa pun love lah! hahahaha ;P

Ok done...sila lap air liur masing-masing. Just to share my list of heartthrobs, so that in future when my anak cucu want to know better about me, they can just refer to my blog and think 'Oohh..boleh tahan gak taste mak/atok aku ni. Patutla muka kami ada macam Japanese sket' Hahahahaahahaa..

Masterchef..NOT!

I am not a great cook. Ok, i am not a cook..i seldom cook! That is why you won't find any cooking recipes or homecook pictures on my blog.Eventhough i love to eat i don't like to cook as much. I find cooking very tedious and too much hassle with all the preparations and tidy up all the mess after that is even worse. But......i do try to cook now and then simply because of my motherly/wifey instinct to provide homecook dish for my husband & children.  Usually i just cook up something simple and well-liked by all. I am not adventurous when come to coking, not the kind who cook up plenty of dishes or a complete course (appetizer, main dish, dessert). I respect those who capable of that..i envy you for your great effort!

I know most of you women especially married ones love to cook and try new dishes and recipes every now and then. I tried to be that woman as well but i gave up easily. Both my husband & son are fussy eater. They hardly accept or appreciate any creative dish. To make it even worse, my husband does not eat fish and avoid any seafood if possible. So i am left with chicken & eggs. My son still appreciates seafood so i do cook them for him occasionally. Family's favourite or i can safely claim, my best dishes are my nasi goreng, mi goreng, maggie goreng (not the instant ones ya!), spaghetti bolognese. See, only simple food, kacau gaul dah siap! hahaha..

Lately i have this cravings for Itallian food especially pasta. I only know how to cook bolognese. The cream ones i just use 'Prego in a can' and add some sliced hotdogs & mushrooms. After i ate Aglio Olio Spicy Seafood Spaghetti at Delicious cafe, i secretly wish i can cook like that. So recently i tried to cook it. Bought all the expensive herbs and also first time buying the expensive olive oil. Alas, my humble spicy seafood aglio olio menjadi but need a lil' bit improvement. The most important thing was that the whole family love it!

Lepas ni i want to dig more pasta recipes and try each one of them. Kalau tak, rugi olive oil and herbs yang masih banyak stock. Any good Itallian food recipes wanna share? Make sure it is simple and not too much hassle like most malay dishes! LOL!

From Delicious cafe. Very delicious!
From my kitchen. Picture not appetizing at all but it tastes good. Very spicy and very yummy!

Current Craze

Here are what i keep doing or i can say my favorite things at the moment:

Guitar hero! Since my husband bought Wii early of the month, we been stringing guitar every night (and day on weekend). Being an avid gamer, my husband are more advanced than me because my finger still slip off the button every now & then, especially on the fast pace music. I want to buy 'The Beatles'  version where i can play all my favourite Beatles song like a rockstar!

Also a Wii game. Just dance together with the avatar on the screen. The reason i love playing it is because it is  similar to doing aerobics. It makes me sweat and  my arm do sore after playing it due to swinging vigorously. I try to play it every night if my lil' Dania don't bugs me. When in bad mood, Dania refuses to let me do anything than to attends her, she will hugs my legs whenever i start to dance, so how la to groove and score points right??  But when she's in good mood she will laugh, wiggle & swing her hands like me. So i will try to dance as frequent as i could for a fitter body!

Haa....this is what i always looking forward to every afternoon after work. Nora Elena drama series on TV3 every Monday to Thursday at 7pm. A love story, adapted from a novel, Kasih Suci. I am too lazy to elaborate about the story, for those interested just google it. Suprisingly my husband enjoy it as well (i think 80% is because of the beautiful heroine, gatai miang sungguh!). The story are interesting and not annoying or overly dramatic like most of malay drama. The beautiful hero & heroine are also plus points. Siti Saleha and Aaron Aziz are soooo gorgeous, whenever they are together i boleh senyum sorang-sorang. I seldom enjoy or love Malay drama especially drama series but this one i am hooked! Berbunga-bunga hatiku tiap kali tengok drama ni!

Spiral potato! Me, hubby and Adam love it! We eat it once a week. Buys it at Pasar Malam every Thursday. Original or spicy, cheese or BBQ sauce, either way still yummy! Being a potato fan, this is heaven food for me. Thanks to whoever invented it.

Ok...those are what in craze right now. I will make another post when new craze invaded!

Glasses & Cups

Remember my last post about McDonald's Cola can glasses? Well, i got them already! But managed to get 3 of them only. Only my 3 favourite colors which are Purple, Blue, Pink. Tak larat nak makan McD tiap-tiap minggu dah..gemok kottt!

Bad quality photo. The glasses are much prettier than picture. The pink color are a bit disappointing because the color are not so bright and look even worse in picture (mcm kaler grey je kan?). I bought these glasses to be used, not for display. So the boxes are gone, jadi permainan Dania buat sementara waktu, she was fascinated with the box, not sure why. My husband told me once you lose the box the glasses are not valuable (no selling value) anymore or maybe depreciated. Already through online (Lowyat.net) people who missed out on buying the glasses offered to pay few ringgits (RM20++ kot). I don't care la, bukan nak jual pun!

Apart from the glasses i got, my Adam also got a share of goodies. With purchases of Happy Meal, he got to collect Spongebob cup & straw! Given out  by weekly basis as well and he managed to get 1 Spongebob cup & 1 Spongebob straw. Just look at his happy face! Thanks Mcd..double joy for mak and anak! Oh, and double the fat roll as well! hahahahaha!

Prints & Kimono

Printed loose pants and kimono jacket. I would like to have both garments on my wardrobe. Since i donned the hijab, i  buy lots of jacket and cardigans to wear it with my tons of short sleeves tees/blouses. Both printed loose pants and kimono jacket are in trend right now and i am still finding the suitable ones that suits my budget and body types (big ass). Kimono jacket are expensive while printed loose pants are hard to find in my size. Another alternative to buy them is through overseas (online) such as H&M, F21, ASOS coz they brought in bigger sizes and more choices of designs, also cheaper than those sells in local malls. Spotted one nice harem pants in Cotton On (during their storwide 30% sale)  but sold out in my size..benci kan! For kimono jacket, spotted them at F21, Warehouse and Topshop but wayyy too expensive, i am too stingy to spend hundreds on a piece of cloth. So anyone, if you saw them cheap and nice do inform me ya!

Abundance of prints! Harem, aladdin or palazzo pants,
as long it is printed & loose cut i am bought! *grins*

Looks like your pyjamas pants right? With the right style, it would look stylish and casual.

The draping, the asymmetrical cuts, the prints and the soft  fabrics.
Perfect staple in you wardrobe!
Again, it look like your bathrobe or nigthwear cover-ups right? Maybe it is the trend now to wear nightwear as outerwear?? As long as it looks good on you, why not give it a try?

Inspired to wear one yet? Start hunting for your choice of prints now and also do tell me if you found good bargain ya!

Cola Glasses

I am not a fan of fancy dishware or anything of that sort. Unlike some others, who love collecting them and placed them in a special cupboard either for display or to protect them. In fact, now i still using melamine plates that i bought before i married and some random plates that i got for free from buying toothpaste or detergents. Having said that, i love getting free glasses, plates or mug my with purchases. Especially if they are cute or one of a kind design. But i am not that fanatic, to the point of waiting in que to get them.

For example this new offer from McDonald's. A unique Cola glasses (shape of coca cola can) that you get free with any purchase of McValue Meal + ice cream sundae. I managed to collect some of their previous edition of Cola glasses even though not all colors and i think they are the most beautiful glasses that i owned so far (i know, it sound rather pathetic!). This limited edition Cola glasses are available from 28 April. I want them in Purple, Pink and Blue please!!!

Ooowwhh...awesome glasses right?right?

Serai @ Empire Mall

Have you been to Serai restaurant at Empire Mall, Subang? If you haven't, i recommend you to dine there in the future. Been reading about it on blogs of how good their food is. I was there recently with my parents and sister. The food is as good it looks. I did not order their dishes, but i believe they are sure to be delicious as well.

Serai platter. Combination of their best dishes (i think). Which are lamb, honey squids, ayam goreng rempah and acar. This is mine, love it! My sis and her boyfriend were having this as well.

Beriani rice with lamb shank. My father's. He said it was good and the lamb was very tender.

Best of all..Berry Pavlova. Was my first time tasted pavlova and i was in dream! Read it somewhere that Serai serve the best pavlova in town.

The pasta was good as well. I ordered it for my son and he adores it, did not take any picture because he was seated quite far from 'photographer'. My son ate their macrons as well, compare to Harrod's, Serai's macrons are better, not too sweet.

Not forgetting, a picture of us..hahaha..*gedik*

My baby Dania only had her baby biscuit. Pity her!

One more thing to compliment was their service. I was impressed with the waiter who served us. I think he is of mid-east descendant and he was sweet enough to entertain Dania, or maybe he just love babies because everytime he passes Dania he would steal a pinch on her cheek. The food was served fast plus the waiters are all very attentive. I don't mind paying them 5% service charge. Anyway, the food there are not cheap as well but i think it was all worth it. Do try to dine there if you are anywhere near Subang.
